Angela Velez, author of the forthcoming YA novel, Lulu and Milago’s Search for Clarity, will be visiting U Iowa on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 to do a reading and workshop with undergraduate students.  

This event is supported by The English Society and Latina/x/o Studies, and organized by Elizabeth Rodriguez Fielder (Assistant Professor, English). The evening will include a virtual reading and workshop for YA writing, followed by a Q&A for writing and publishing in the YA genre.
