In 2021-22, Raquel Valladolid is a second-year student from Sioux City, Iowa, majoring in Spanish and English and Creative Writing with minors in Latina/o/x studies, communication studies, and translation for global literacy. While at the University of Iowa, she hopes to develop her skills as an editor and translator.

Her article, "The Fourth Dimension:  How Intersectionality Complicates Belonging" was published in the fall 2021 UI Honors Program Newsletter (pp. 17 - 18).
